When you look at my Children, you’re looking at children who are protected, respected (yes, children deserve to be respected), healthy, safe, privileged, black, beautiful and handsome!

It doesn’t matter what I came from…what matters it what comes from me. I’m working to heal so they don’t have to! I’m proud of me Baby! From “Broken to Whole” is what I claim!

Somebody should have shouted off that alone cuz these children ain’t broken, bruised, scared, scarred, abused, misused, mistreated or defeated. They were born free because I didn’t pass onto them what was passed onto me.

They get to talk back. I didn’t say for long tho. I’m still a black Mama. 📷📷
